Arequipa and Colca Canyon: 11 tours in Chilean pesos, 1 day vs 2 days, and what you still pay on site (2026)
11 Arequipa and Colca tours priced 9 Sep 2026: Colca full day CLP $53,000 or 2 days $68,900 — canyon ticket already included. City days from CLP $14,781.
Prices below are seasonal promotional rates per person, verified at checkout on 9 September 2026 — whatever checkout shows is the price. You pay in Chilean pesos (CLP); US dollar figures are approximations at 900 CLP per USD, stated once. Several listings are USD-native (IZI), so the peso can move ~0.4%/day.
A Colca Canyon tour from Arequipa is CLP $53,000 (≈US$59) for the full day or CLP $68,900 (≈US$77) with a night in Chivay (9 Sep 2026) — and on both, the canyon tourist ticket is already included. City and near-city days run from CLP $14,781 (Sillar Route) to CLP $31,800 (city tour with Santa Catalina in). Above that sit the food tour, the Misti climb and the long routes to Puno or from Cusco.
Most English pages quote soles or dollars and assume the Colca ticket is extra. Here are the 11 tours in the currency checkout charges, cheapest to most expensive, with the real 1-day vs 2-day difference and the little you still pay on site.
The Colca question is not only the tour price. It is whether you want a 3-hour predawn drive and the same-day return, or a night in Chivay and the condor with the day just starting. That gap is CLP $15,900.

Colca in 1 day or 2: the real difference
Both tours hit the same places: Cruz del Cóndor (listing: canyon deeper than 4,100 m), Maca and Yanque, pre-Inca terrace viewpoints and the Salinas y Aguada Blanca reserve. Both cross the volcano viewpoint at 4,910 m.
The full day (CLP $53,000) packs that into one day: predawn Arequipa start, breakfast in Chivay, condor mid-morning, lunch and back. Breakfast, lunch and the canyon ticket are in. It is the option if you have one day — knowing you go from Arequipa’s 2,300 m to 4,910 m and back between dawn and afternoon.
The 2-day (CLP $68,900) climbs calmly on day 1, sleeps in Chivay — hot springs optional in the afternoon — and goes to Cruz del Cóndor the next morning without a predawn start from Arequipa. Night, day-1 lunch, day-2 breakfast and the canyon ticket are in. Out: day-1 dinner, day-2 lunch, hot-spring ticket and tips.
In money: the extra CLP $15,900 buys the Chivay night and a different rhythm, but you add two meals the full day already includes.

Misti, 5,825 m in 2 days — only if you already walk at altitude
The Misti expedition (CLP $138,570) is another effort class: day 1 about five hours on foot from 3,400 m to base camp at 4,665 m; day 2 breakfast at 03:00 and about six hours to 5,825 m, then all the way down the same day. Includes 4×4, high-mountain guide, tents, route food, oxygen in the vehicle and climbing gear if there is snow on the summit. Sleeping bag, poles, headlamp and mountain boots are yours — and the listing asks for at least 4 litres of water per person.

If you are coming from Cusco
Suykutambo + Colca (CLP $280,900, 3D/2N) crosses from Cusco to Arequipa without burning a bus day: four lagoons, the Qeswachaka fiber bridge, the three Suykutambo canyons and Cruz del Cóndor before drop-off in Arequipa. Private transport, bridge and canyon tickets, 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2 dinners and an oxygen bottle.

Preguntas frecuentes
How much is a Colca Canyon tour from Arequipa?
On 9 Sep 2026, CLP $53,000 the full day and CLP $68,900 the 2D/1N with a night in Chivay. The version that ends in Puno is CLP $174,900; the 3-day from Cusco is CLP $280,900. All four already include the canyon ticket. Seasonal promo — checkout rules.
Colca in 1 day or 2 days?
Same places. Full day CLP $53,000 is one long predawn day with breakfast and lunch in. The 2-day CLP $68,900 sleeps in Chivay and does the condor the next morning; day-1 dinner and day-2 lunch are extra. If you have the extra day, the 2-day spreads the altitude; if not, the full day covers the same ground harder.
Is the Colca Canyon ticket included?
Yes on the three Colca tours on this page (listings 9 Sep 2026). Buying it loose is about 40 soles for Latin Americans / 70 for other foreigners, per local Peruvian press (Aug 2026). Chivay hot springs are optional and paid on site.
How much are Arequipa city tours?
CLP $14,781 to $94,228 per person (9 Sep 2026): Sillar $14,781, Pillones $27,714, Salinas $27,714, Chili rafting $27,714, city tour $31,800, food tour $94,228. Hotel pick-up in the centre.
What do you pay separately?
Little, in soles and cash: Chivay hot springs (optional), S/5 tickets on Sillar/Pillones/Salinas, food on those three, dinner day 1 and lunch day 2 on the 2-day Colcas, and tips. City tour already includes Santa Catalina.
How many days in Arequipa?
3 days cover the city tour, one short outing and Colca full day. 4–5 days fit the 2-day Colca. Misti adds 2 more and wants real fitness. Arequipa is about 2,300 m — the city itself walks from day one.
Can I continue to Puno or arrive from Cusco without backtracking?
Yes. Colca + Puno drop (CLP $174,900) leaves you in Puno. Suykutambo + Colca (CLP $280,900, 3 days from Cusco) ends in Arequipa. If the trip starts and ends in Arequipa, the CLP $68,900 Colca is the logical one.
Can I pay Arequipa tours in Chilean pesos?
Yes. All 11 are CLP on Tuki checkout. Several are USD-native, so the exact peso can move day to day — checkout rules. On site you only need soles in cash for tickets and meals left out.
