Spring snow: how to plan the day

October snow is hard at dawn, creamy from about 10:30 and heavy after 15:30. The bus reaches the resort between 10:00 and 12:30 and heads down at 16:45, which fits that window. Goggles and sunscreen matter more than the jacket at 3.000 m.

If the resort closes on your date

If the road or the resort closes before your departure, write to Tuki: you can reschedule or get a refund. If you already went up and the service was provided, there is no refund. After Oct 18, choose Valle Nevado.

Departure and road

One departure per day: you choose the day, not the hour. Meeting point La Casa del Ski, Vitacura 9016, bus 07:00–07:30. The G-21 runs one-way: uphill 8:00–13:00, downhill 15:00–20:00; check it the day before.
