November is not the full-mirror month. The Uyuni-town full-day listing names the mirror effect from December to April. November is the transition: light Altiplano showers start, some weeks leave standing-water patches, some weeks the crust stays dry. There is no exact date when 'the mirror begins' — anyone selling you one made it up.
From San Pedro de Atacama the 4-day / 3-night jeep is CLP $270,000 (the one this corridor books most). The 5-day Altiplano program is $345,000; the 6-day is $395,000. What November is on the salar (and what we will not claim)
- Bolivia's wet season is often written November–March/April. A continuous mirror is not automatic on 1 November.
